UAE Celebrates 49 Years of a United Army

On May 6, the UAE celebrated 49 years since the country’s army became one united force. UAE leaders thanked the soldiers for keeping the country safe and helping others in need.

President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed said this is an important day in the history of the UAE. He thanked the army for their hard work and for protecting the country. He also remembered the soldiers who died while doing their job. He said they are heroes and we will never forget them.

The President said the UAE army also helps people during hard times, not only in the UAE but also in other countries. This makes people around the world respect and admire the UAE.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, the Ruler of Dubai, said this army unification was a big moment in building the UAE. He spoke about how, in 1976, the late Sheikh Zayed and other leaders joined all the small armies into one big national army. This helped the country become strong and united.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, the Vice President, also said the army helps protect the UAE and keep it safe. He said the army is important for the country’s future.

The UAE became a country in 1971, when six emirates came together. In 1972, Ras Al Khaimah joined. Then in 1976, all the different armies were combined to make one strong army for the whole country.

Leaders from other emirates — like Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, and Umm Al Quwain — also gave messages to thank the soldiers. They said the army shows how strong and united the UAE is.

The UAE army stands for bravery, kindness, and teamwork. On this day, people across the country said thank you to the soldiers who protect the UAE every day.

Why Schools Should Teach Mental Health, Not Just Math

This feature article will explore the importance of teaching mental health in schools. It will discuss how understanding emotions, stress, and mental wellness can help students do better in school and in life. The article will include stories from students and teachers, facts from research, and ideas for how schools can add mental health to the curriculum.

Potential Interviewees and Research Options:
I plan to interview a school counselor, a teacher who supports mental health education, and a high school student who has faced mental health challenges. I will also use research from the World Health Organization and local news sources in the UAE that talk about teen stress and school pressure.

Anticipated Word Count:
450–550 words

Anticipated Deadline:
May 12, 2025

Why Mental Health Should Be a Part of Every School Day

Students don’t just struggle with homework and exams, many deal with stress and pressure too. But most schools don’t talk about mental health, even though it’s very important.

Mental health helps students focus better and live happier lives. Some students are afraid to express their feelings or don’t know how to ask for help. Ahmed, a 17-year-old student, says: “I used to get very stressed before exams and couldn’t sleep. I didn’t know how to handle the stress.”

After attending a mental health workshop, he learned how to calm down and talk to the school counselor. He says, “I wish we learned this in class.”

Some schools in the UAE have started including mental health activities like meditation or talking about feelings. Teacher Rania says, “When we teach students about emotions, they become stronger and do better in school.”

Mental health is just as important as math. Schools should help students feel good inside so they can succeed in everything.

Young Arab Women Are Changing the Future

In the UAE, a 26-year-old woman named Amina Al Suwaidi started a health and wellness company. Her goal is to help women take care of their minds and bodies. “I wanted to create something that helps other women feel better,” she says. Her business is now growing and reaching more people every day.

Social media is also helping many young Arab women share their voices. Salma Hegazy, a popular Instagram influencer, talks about women’s rights, self-love, and confidence. She says, “Social media gave me a place to speak and help others.” Many girls follow her and feel inspired by her words and ideas.

Education is another big area of change. In Jordan, a young student named Leen Ahmad teaches girls in small villages how to use computers and learn coding. She says, “When girls learn these skills, they believe in themselves more.” Leen hopes that more girls will enter the tech world and do great things.

Even with challenges like old traditions or social rules, these women keep moving forward. Reports from trusted sources say that more Arab women are taking leadership roles in schools, businesses, and online.

Young Arab women are full of ideas, strength, and hope. They are working hard to make their countries better and to help others. The future looks brighter because of them. They are not just following dreams — they are creating new ones for everyone to believe in.

Why We Should Celebrate Young Arab Women

Young Arab women are doing powerful things. They are starting businesses, helping others, and bringing change to their communities. We need to support them more.

Take Amina Al Suwaidi from the UAE as an example. She’s just 26 years old and already started a wellness company to help women take care of their health. “I wanted to help others feel better,” she said. Her business is growing and helping many people every day.

This kind of success shows that when young Arab women are given a chance, they can do amazing things. I believe we don’t talk enough about women like Amina. Too often, their ideas are not supported or they are told to follow traditional paths. But that needs to change.

We should give these women more space to lead, create, and grow. Society needs their energy, ideas, and strength. They can inspire others and bring real progress, not only in business but in education, health, and technology too.

Young women like Amina are building a better future. They show us what’s possible when someone is brave and follows their dream. Let’s support them, believe in them, and make sure more girls know they can do the same.

How a Positive Mindset Can Shape Our Future

In a world filled with challenges and uncertainties, cultivating a positive mindset has never been more crucial. It's not just about feeling good; it's about how positivity can change lives and contribute to a healthier, more productive society.

A positive mindset helps individuals overcome adversity, manage stress, and build resilience. It plays a critical role in shaping how we respond to life’s challenges, whether personal or professional. More importantly, research shows that fostering positivity not only enhances mental health but also boosts physical well-being. From improved immune function to lower stress levels, the benefits are undeniable.

We need to promote positive thinking not just as a personal choice but as a collective one. By embracing a positive mindset, we can create a healthier, more supportive society where individuals thrive, not just survive.
